[edit] These counties are not Ogden

Ogden, Utah is not in Davis County, Utah or Morgan County, Utah. Between the city of Ogden and Davis County there is at least one intervening city (with most routes being two), no matter which road you take. Going from Ogden to Morgan County goes through at least two cities. Additionally, Davis County goes clear to Salt Lake City, Utah, and Morgan County goes almost clear to Wyoming. These categories are definitely not the same things. I will make changes to correct this significant error. — Val42 (talk) 01:07, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Weber County

I've separated out those who were in this category that should be in Davis County, Utah or Morgan County, Utah. Now, should we separate out those who aren't from Ogden proper but are in Weber County, Utah category? Or should we just move everyone here to the People from Weber County, Utah? — Val42 (talk) 23:26, 14 December 2007 (UTC)

I'd be inclined to just move them all to the weber county category and make this a redirect to there. At far less than 100,000 people, it's not the size of city that needs it's own category for people from there, IMO. If you think it's important to retain the city classification, at least make this category a subcategory of the weber county category and we can sort out the people from ogden itself from the county people. Easier to move everyone, I suppose. Snocrates 01:49, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
Not to be too quick, but this seems reasonable, so I'll go ahead and make the change. — Val42 (talk) 18:39, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
Okay, I've fixed it. Because there are so many from Ogden, Utah, I've left this category as well and made it an entry in the Category:People from Weber County, Utah. — Val42 (talk) 19:42, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
Looks good. On reflection, it looks like there are enough from just Ogden itself to justify the city category. Snocrates 00:25, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
