Welcome
Hey there, Pentasyllabic/Archive 1. Welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you enjoy being a Wikipedian and decide to stay! Here are a few good links for newcomers (or "oldcomers" for reference):
By the way, you should sign and date your comments on talk and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~. Three tildes (~~~) produces just your name. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!
Great, just what we need around this place... more self-referential names. :) Cheers. --Lord Voldemort (Dark Mark) 20:01, 2 September 2005 (UTC)
Naruto
Yes, actually. My source is the Second Databook, page 151.
大刀を帯びた様相とともに、七人衆の勇名は他国にまで知れ渡っている。
"Because of the large swords they wield, the fame of the Seven Swordsmen has spread even to foreign countries."

Featured article for December 25th
I noticed that you have listed yourself as an atheist Wikipedian. You will probably be interested to know that Brian0918 has nominated Omnipotence paradox as the front page article for December 25th. You can vote on this matter here. The other suggestion being supported by others for that date is Christmas, although Raul654 has historically been against featuring articles on the same day as their anniversary/holiday. Dvorak user category proposed deletion
FYI: There is a move to delete the Dvorak user category. If you have an opinion on the matter, you may voice it at: Wikipedia:Categories for deletion#Category:Dvorak keyboard users — Eoghanacht talk 14:11, 13 December 2005 (UTC)
your changes
More than one person has tried to come to a comprimise today and the guy who put the info up was willing to live with a truncated version of his contribution in a section entitled "unverified" or something like that. And in my humle opinion, what's in that section is a heck of a lot more inappropriate that what he wanted in. And he was willing to get it mediated and all he wanted was his ONE sentence in whatever form, to stay up until it was mediated. But the same people who took it down without a discussion keep trying to just take it down and get him banned. It's not right and it's antithetical to what this site is supposed to be about. 151.196.39.142 06:18, 24 December 2005 (UTC)
I hope they stick because I do think they are fair comprimises and the guy is willing to deal with it. If someone else changes it, I hope you would stand up for comprimise. --151.196.39.142 06:39, 24 December 2005 (UTC)
Bleach links
Just to let you know, the portion of WP:NOT that you referenced covers articles which are nothing BUT a list of weblinks and, while speaking of not having excessive amounts, doesn't provide a guideline as to what constitutes excessive. While I respect your opinions as to what is and isn't acceptable in an article, IMHO I don't think the remaining links are too much, though I do agree the foreign language and shrine links needed to go. I did, however, restore a forum link and a generic site link. Compromise at it's best! Nezu Chiza 08:59, 2 January 2006 (UTC)
Unstubbing
I would like to extend a personal thanks. I had sought to clean up the Rann article, using what little knowledge I could pull out of my sources, and was hesitant to unstub the article. As you have unstubbed it, I take it as a compliment, and would like to thank you. Perhaps it's a bit out of place, but there it is. DoctorWorm7 05:09, 6 January 2006 (UTC)
Lost episode guides
Hey, in case you weren't aware, we're in the middle of revamping the episode guides for Lost. If you would like to participate, please read the discussion here, and then sign up for any episodes you're interested in. Thanks. Jtrost 20:22, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
Lost trivia
Hey. I've removed the anagram you added to the trivia because it is not notable. Here are the guidelines for notable trivia in case you haven't seen them before:
- Information added to the "trivia" section which relates or expands the story, and would be of interest to general audiences, might be acceptable; that which notes errors or reflects one-time occurrences that would primarily interest only fans likely would not be acceptable.
Additionally, the purgatory theory has been dismissed here, which makes that anagram more of a coincidence than anything else. If you disagree with my decision please make a topic on the talk page and we can reach a consensus there. Jtrost 22:55, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
Uchiha Itachi
What is wrong with these passages?
- He graduated top of his Academy class at age 7, had mastered the Sharingan by age 8, became a Chūnin at 10 and was previously a Black Ops (ANBU in the Japanese versions) squad leader at the age of only 13. He left Konoha about five years ago, after killing off his whole clan except for Uchiha Sasuke, his little brother. At 17, he was even feared by Orochimaru. He is now currently associated with Akatsuki. Orochimaru had planed to use Itachi's body as a new container, but seeing as Itachi is powerful to such a degree that even Orochimaru fears him (Possibly for the ability to copy every single jutsu he ever obtained with the sharingan) and has stated that Itachi is stronger, it's easy to see why Orochimaru decided to leave Akatsuki and try his luck with Sasuke instead.
Or,
-
- There have been many debates between fans whether or not Uchiha Itachi is the most powerful shinobi in Naruto, commonly comparing his power to that of the Legendary Sannin. Nonetheless, common sense might point to Akatsuki Leader being the strongest, Although that cannot be known due to his/her rare appearances.Malomeat 07:34, 5 March 2006 (UTC)Malomeat
Naruto Trivia
Why did you remove the trivia I added? I added legitimate trivia based from the anime series yet for some reason you chose to remove it. Why? —Preceding unsigned comment added by LimitNZ (talk • contribs) 16:46, 24 July 2006

Diablo 2 Jargon
I dont see the point of removing the jargon, please if you do something dramatically put it on the discussion page, before doing so.. or afterwards, noticing why you removed it. Else it could be seen as vandalism, because the summary you gave, didnt make much sense to me.
So, why did you remove the jargon? NeiNie 15:42, 25 September 2006 (UTC)

Here you go. I should hope that I'm not getting two jutsus mixed up, because then I'd look stupid. ~SnapperTo 04:03, 11 October 2006 (UTC)

Asuma's last words.
I misunderstood the context of the phrase "I'll let you decide."--Vercalos 23:58, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
- I'm reading an amateur translation of it, so I suppose it's not entirely trustworthy. the text from the page is as follows
Asuma:Oh yeah... And on that talk about the "king"... So... Do you know who the "king" is? I'll tell you... Who it is... Come closer...
Then there are two frames, second frame has an exclamation
Shikamaru:Asuma... You... That's why...
Asuma:...I'll leave it up to you... Shikamaru...
Btw, the kanji you mentioned has about 9 different meanings, including rely, depend, resort, ask, beg, request, order, hire, or, as you mentioned, trust... Is there any other kanji there to indicate some sort of context?
Fixing Sasuke
Thanks for fixing Uchiha Sasuke, that article's had a bad day today. --Iriseyes 23:03, 12 November 2006 (UTC)

Children of Men
Since you helped de-link unnecessary words at Batman Begins, I thought I'd point you to Children of Men to see what needs to be de-linked there. --Erik (talk/contrib) @ 18:05, 2 December 2006 (UTC)

Thanks. I looked at that for five minutes and couldn't figure out what I was leaving out. CovenantD 22:02, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
Super Friends Trivia
I believe you add the tag for too much trivia. Just thought you'd like to know that I've taken some of them to create section (Comics, Bumper and Parody). 71.115.231.16 11:30, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
Order of the Stick
Hiya Pentasyllabic! Can I ask what is up with you reverting my edits to the Oots talk page? The page is in dire need of a cleanup (or archive), and yet you threw my edits away - along with others. The discussion about print novels is far behind reality, and over a year old. Besides, you can always see old discussions in history, so nothing is ever truely removed. Would you suggest using strikeout instead? The page really needs a serious clean up so that it can be used as constructive tool for editing and improving the article, not a historical document of commentary. Anyway, nice to meet you, look forward to your reply :) Timmccloud 20:18, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for your reply on my talk page! I appreciate the time you are taking to discuss this with me. I wasn't trying to "censor" anyone, I was trying to archive the discussion so that the talk page would be more current and useful to content editors. If you know of a better way of doing this, I'm all ears, since I'm still somewhat new at this. I have seen that some editors send their talk pages to "archive" - maybe that's what I want to do, I just don't know how to do it. Otherwise the usefulness of the talk page as a content discussion diminishes since there is no way to find what is current and what is not without reading through a lot of trash. Would you suggest a "to do" list at the top of the page? Timmccloud 22:19, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
- BTW the "other" edit that I mentioned was in fact the rating tag -it had dissapeared on my first refresh of the talk page - It's back now, and I'm totally happy with that. Timmccloud 22:19, 26 December 2006 (UTC)

help us Pentasyllabic, you're our only hope
I noticed that you had voted to keep the category of Fictional Characters by Superpower on the march 7th CFD. Just in case you didn't yet notice, Raidant!'s decision to listify them was put up for review, and another vote started on the 14th. It seems those of us in favor of keeping the categories are losing the debate, and I was hoping you could lend your voice once more so we can keep them --Piemanmoo 20:07, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
Kankuro's Sanshouo
