[edit] Questions on Cashwell's Bio

I removed the following from the body of the article and am placing it here:

The correct name is G.B. Cashwell and his birth date is 1862, not 1826. Doug Beacham, Oklahoma City, OK

I'm in the middle of categorizing Free Will Baptist pages now but will return and research the issue later if nobody does it first.--WilliamThweatt 17:10, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

It appears that the article is incorrect. From what little I can find about Cashwell's background, it appears that he was born in 1862 (although one source says 1860). There is also a WP article about him that has his birthdate as 1860, but it is unsourced as well. I will make the appropriate changes.--WilliamThweatt 22:13, 9 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Ambiguous sentence

I removed this sentence from the article because it was unclear in meaning and I don't know the history of this movement well enough to correctly edit it:

The Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church was formed when four North Carolina Free Will Baptist Conferences merged in 1959.

Does it mean that four NC FWB Conferences merged to form the new group or did four NC FWB Conferences merge and this group was formed by those that didn't participate in the merger? The second choice seems more likely to me as it was about this time that the FWB Churches officially denounced and discourage "tongues" and other Pentacostal doctrines. Anybody with knowledge on this, please provide a source.--WilliamThweatt 22:44, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
