Pentti Matikainen

Pentti Matikainen (born Oct 5, 1950 in Joensuu, Finland) is a famous Finnish hockey coach and general manager.

He used to be the former coach of the Finnish national ice hockey team and the general manager of hockey club HIFK.

1984 Finnish Elite League Coach of the year

1988 Coached Team Finland to its first hockey Olympic medal (silver) in Calgary

1992 Coached Team Finland to a silver medal in World Hockey Championships with no skills
