Pennsylvania Senate, District 13

Pennsylvania's 13th Senatorial District is made of parts of York and Lancaster County. It includes the following:

- East Prospect Borough
- Hellam Township
- Hallam Borough
- Lower Chanceford Township
- Lower Windsor Township
- Springettsbury Township
- Wrightsville Borough
- Yorkana Borough
- Bart Township
- Colerain Township
- Conestoga Township
- Drumore Township
- East Petersburg
- Eden Township
- Fulton Township
- City of Lancaster
- Lancaster Township
- Little Britain Township
- Manheim Township
- Manor Township
- Martic Township
- Millersville Borough
- Pequea Township
- Providence Township
- Quarryville Borough
- Sadsbury Township, Pennsylvania
- Strasburg Borough
- Strasburg Township
- West Lampeter Township
The District is currently represented by Republican Gibson E. Armstrong who has represented the District since 1984 and will retire at the end of 2008. Armstrong previously served as the State Representative for Pennsylvania's 100th Legislative District (Part of Lancaster County).
Candidates running to replace Senator Armstrong in the primary which was held April 22, 2008 were Republicans: Bill Neff, Lloyd Smucker, Paul Thibault, and Steve McDonald and Democrat Jose Urdaneta. Republican Lloyd Smucker and Democrat Jose Urdaneta will face off in the November election.
