Pennsylvania Route 946 is a rural Pennsylvania highway that runs approximately 18 miles from Berlinsville, Pennsylvania to Newburg, Pennsylvania in Northampton County, Pennsylvania.
[edit] Route description
It traverses mildly hilly country from its western terminus at PA Route 248 to its traffic-lighted junction with PA Route 512 in Moorestown. From Route 512, it is mostly flat to its eastern terminus at PA Route 191 just south of Nazareth.
It is an alternate to PA 248 and PA 329 for motorists going from upper Lehigh County to the Nazareth area as those routes have many traffic lights and both wind through the borough of Bath. Since 946 traverses open terrain, there are fewer major junctions.
