Pennsylvania Highlands Community College

Pennsylvania Highlands Community College is a community college and vocational school with two branches located in Johnstown and Ebensburg, Pennsylvania.

In June of 1993, the Cambria County Commissioners voted to sponsor the Cambria County Area Community College. In September of 1993, the school was officially approved by the Pennsylvania State Board of Education. In October of 1993, plans began for the school to open under a 15 member Board of Trustees. On September 5, 1994 Cambria County Area Community College held its first classes with the recently appointed Dr. John O. Hunter as the school's first president. In 1999, Dr. Hunter retired to be replaced by Dr. Kathleen V. Davis. In 2002, Dr. Davis was replaced by Dr. John Kingsmore as interem president. In June of 2002, the college was accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. On July 8, 2002, Dr. Anna D. Weitz became the school's 3rd president. On July 1, 2004, the Cambria County Area Community College officially changed its name to the Pennsylvania Highlands Community College.

The Cambria County Transit Authority (CamTran) operates three urban routes that serve the Richland site (Main Site) of Pennsylvania Highlands Community College.
These routes are:
- 9 - Richland Towne Centre
- 11 - Galleria/Scalp Ave
- 17 - Scalp Ave/Galleria
The Cambria County Transit Authority (CamTran) also operations a rural bus that serves the Ebensburg (North) site of Pennsylvania Highlands Community College.

- 30 - Johnstown/Ebensburg
