Pennant's Colobus (Piliocolobus pennantii) is a species of primate in the Cercopithecidae family. It is found in Cameroon, Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, and Nigeria. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. It is threatened by habitat loss.[2]
Three subspecies of this red colobus are recognized:[1]
- Bioko Red Colobus, Piliocolobus pennantii pennantii
- Niger Delta Red Colobus, Piliocolobus pennantii epieni
- Bouvier's Red Colobus, Piliocolobus pennantii bouvieri
