There is a controversy with the spelling of Penn Trafford. Some spell it with a hyphen, and others do not. For example, on the diplomas, The front reads "Penn-Trafford High School" while the inside reads "Penn Trafford High School."[citation needed] McCullough Elementary won the "Boundless Playground" contest, receiving a free playground suitable for all children, disabilities and not.[citation needed]
[edit] Athletics
Penn-Trafford participates in the Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League (WPIAL).[1] Football is a popular sport at Penn-Trafford.[citation needed]
