Pengzhou (Chinese: 彭州; Pinyin: Péngzhōu) is a county-level city in Sichuan, China, some 36 km (22.37 mi) northwest of Chengdu and about as much west of Deyang.
It has an area of 1420 square kilometers and a population of 780,000 in 2003.[1] Like other regions around the area, Pengzhou was badly affected by the 2008 Sichuan Earthquake.
