Peng Ong

Peng Ong was born into a business family in Singapore. Peng Ong completed his Graduation from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. He went on to complete his Master's in Computer Science from the University of Illinois. Peng quit his Ph.D. midway and got into the business.[1]
In 2001, Peng founded Encentuate, which provides enterprises with strong and usable digital identity systems. Before Encentuate, Peng was the founder and chairman of Interwoven, Inc., the leading providers of content infrastructure. Peng was co-founder and chief architect of Electric Classifieds Inc., the creators ofMatch.com. He has also played various engineering and management roles at Illustra, Sybase Inc., and Gensym Corporation.
Peng was awarded the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign College of Engineering's Alumni Award for Distinguished Service in 2002.[2]
