Penfield 3 railway station, Adelaide

Penfield 3 railway station is a former railway station on the defunct Penfield which is located in the northern Adelaide sudurb of Edinburgh. [1] It is located 25.8 km by railway from Adelaide Railway Station. It was closed between 1988 and 1990, just before the Penfield line was closed and dismantled in 1991. The station sign and seats, the track, and some of the platform is now gone. Penfield 3 is the only station left after Penfield 1 and 2 were demolished in the late 1990's and Hilra was demolished in the 1980's. The station is visible opposite the RAAF Base entrance.
