Penang Times Square

Penang Times Square is an upcoming shopping centre and commercial centre which is currently under construction at George Town, Penang. The site is built on what is formerly the Escoy Smelting Company, it is located along Jalan Dato Kramat and just a stone's throw away from KOMTAR.

One of the construction proposals is the inclusion of a monorail station in the shopping centre, in line of a government proposal to connect the east side of the island with the Penang Monorail service in the near future.

14/05/2008 :-

Until now, construction of Phase I is almost completed. Phase I will be completed by end of 2008. Piling stage for Phase II should be completed soon.

28/05/2008 :-

Phase II Birch Regency is 85% sold at the moment of writing. Construction stage is up to 40% at Phase II which means the work below ground level including piling and foundation are done.
