Image talk:Penis corrected.jpg
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
before someone asks (it's often asked or wrongly assumed on pages featuring this pic or derivatives): it's the same penis left and right. and it's uncircumsized. you just don't see it when erect
Question: I have an uncircumsized penis. When it's not erect it looks like the picture on the left. However, when it is erect it looks nothing like the picture on the right. There's still some foreskin left hanging off when mine is erect. Is this normal or what? (Lord Vader 05:48, 30 July 2006 (UTC))
- This isn't really the page or place to discuss this but have you tried manually retracting your foreskin as was done for this photo (and is mentioned in the caption)? Nil Einne 10:09, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Lock this image from editing?
Shouldn't it be better to lock this image from editing ? At least IP and very new users should be prohibited from editing this image (as vandal history shows). Also the image history should be cleaned up, all the BS image revert should be deleted. ( there are two versions of this image and happyly replaced by each other by mostly newbies. --Denniss 10:15, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Two Different Penises
I have a hard time believing this is the same penis - you CAN'T see the retracted foreskin on the penis on the right - it looks circumsized.
Also the testicles are clearly different in the two pictures.
- Are you a male? I'm just wondering because if you were, you might realise the primary difference is that the they have retracted closer to the penis, which isn't uncommon and happens in a variety of circumstances, see testicles Nil Einne 19:30, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
Testicles have nothing to do with it, because they retract when aroused, the things I think that makes it look like two different penises are: absence (visually) of foreskin on the second, and the difference in pubic hair.
- They're the SAME penis. IT IS STATED ABOVE THAT THE FORESKIN IS RETRACTED. Do you have an uncircumcised penis? If so then you should know how this works.. 24.183.178.138

[edit] My personal views on this discussion
I'm afraid to say this because I know someone will delete my comment, but you guys make no sense!! Why on Earth would he want to post two pictures from different penises and then claim they're the same?? Why would anybody have a reason to do something like that? That would be like posting two pictures of different sets of boobs and claiming both as your own! Even if one of them was better than the other, ((which is a morally wrong assumption to make since there should be no such thing as 'better' as long as both are healthy but oh well)) even then, why not just claim the better one was your own?
But more importantly, why do you care?! You're all acting like we were discussing who "really" wrote Othello! It's just a penis people, and if I may say so, I've seen more than one circumcised penis in my life and it's more than fair to say that not all circumcisions are gonna turn out the same. The fact that you have a circumcised penis and it looks nothing like the one in this picture is a really lame reason to assume the one in the picture can't be a circumcised penis too. If you honestly think that this picture is such a misleading representation of circumcised penises that it would make Wikipedia responsible for corrupting the minds of those looking for knowledge, then why don't you post your own friggin picture? (it's a rhethorical question, don't answer)
Which leads me to my next argument. I think the reason why people (arguably, mostly males) refuse to the idea of the penis being the same in the two pictures is that they are insecure about their own penis size, appearance and/or ability to get erections, OR/AND their partner's penis size, appearance and/or ability to get erections. What I'm trying to say is, people whose penis is uglier than the one in the picture might blame circumcision for this ugliness and seeing a better penis makes them uncomfortable. It's just my personal theory!! You don't have to be a loser and delete my comment. But I guess if that's what you want to do there's nothing I can do about it.--Plavalagunanbanshee 00:25, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
p.s.- what's up with the image?? when i click on discussion and then try to go back to the image it says it's not there. but there's links from older edits of other pages to it that work perfectly fine! i'm gonna prove it! i'm gonna click on it and then save and then upload it when it says it's not there. in your face, unneccessary wikipedia bureocracy!!! --Plavalagunanbanshee 00:25, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
