The image is a photograph of the front cover of The Penguin Encyclopedia of Horror and the Supernatural, published by Viking Press in 1986, ISBN 0-670-80902-0. The cover art was painted by Christopher Zacharow. Although the image is subject to copyright I (Hal Raglan) feel it is covered by the U.S. fair use laws because:
