Description |
The white building on the left is the original 1839 station building and level-crossing gatekeeper's cottage, now a private house. The main structure (now sadly boarded up and in need of repairs after a fire in April 2005) was built for the 1863 reopening.

Personally I think dull shithole stations like this aren't notable enough to be included here -- or anywhere except the most thorough of railway timetables -- but most Wikipedians seem to like articles about this
