Peltarion has a neuter Greek ending. Pelta has both a latin and greek ending. I could find no reference to peltarion in either greek or latin materials at Perseus though pelta is listed as the correct term for the shield. Can the original author verify the peltarion form and explain why it is listed as latin rather than greek? alteripse 16:31, 28 November 2005 (UTC)

I'm going to agree with the above, I too can find no attestation to any form in Greek Latin other then pelta, which I think is widely accepted.
