Pelargonium sidoides (Umckaloabo, South African Geranium) is a medicinal plant native to South Africa.
Studies have found extracts from the plant to be superior to placebo in treating acute bronchitis [1][2], acute non-GABHS tonsillopharyngitis (strep throat) in children[3], and the common cold.[4]
