Unusual Mesoscale Convective System over land, that affected eastern Great Lakes, Upper Ohio valley, and northern Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States in 2003. Tropical cyclone look-a-like vortex was in fact the meeting of a supercell Hook echo region and a squall line.
