Charles III was King at the time, Jesuits etc. was down to Monino. Added dates and referenced the Motin de Esquilache riot for future link/redirect. Alf 20:50, 25 Jun 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Indulted?

I just did a fairly extensive stylistic edit dealing with grammar & syntax. The word "indulted" remains. I would guess that it should read "indicted," but I'm not about to edit on the basis of a guess. Could "insulted," too. Perhaps the original writer will return & be so kind as to clarify.
