Pedro Rosa Nales is a journalist and a recognized martial artist. Born in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, he started working at radio station WMDD at Fajardo when he was just 13. As a journalist he has received over 200 awards.

He served in the United States Army as a parachuter from the 82nd Airborne Division, in the 10th Special Forces Group (Green Berets) and the 101st Air Assault Division. He was press officer, executive officer and unit commander in the National Guard. He graduated with the rank of captain.

As a television journalist, he was recruited by the WAPA TV channel 4 of San Juan, Puerto Rico in 1981, becoming the first black Puerto Rican to work as a TV reporter. During his 24 years as a TV journalist, he had won more than 200 awards from several organizations in Puerto Rico and the United States, including awards for the coverage of hurricanes and investigative reports like Red Alert 1 and 2, in which he uncovered the military use of the Vieques island and the effects of army maneuvers on the population. He also uncovered an incident of a nuclear bomb falling in waters near the island in 1966 , which the USA government had kept secret for 34 years. He is the only reporter who ever reached the remains of the plane crash, where baseball star, Roberto Clemente, died at 180 ft under the Atlantic Ocean around the beaches of San Juan. In the past years, he has worked as a host on two editions of Noticentro 4.

Rosa Nales is also a martial artist in the styles of Ju Jitsu and Karate Kobudo and obtained the rank of Black Belt, Fourth Degree in Aiki Jiu Jitsu. He is a direct student of Grand Master, [[Hanshi}} (martial arts)|Hanshi]], Nolasco Rivas, and also has a special relationship with Grand Master, Soke, Carlos Díaz. He has been inducted to the Martial Arts Hall of Fame and to the Hall of Honor and Champions in 2005 and obtained the "Outstanding Martial Arts Instructor of Honor Award" the "International Achievements Award" and the " Master Jiu JItsu Instructor of the year "award ((2007 ))by 3 international martial arts organizations. Master Rosa Nales was ordered " Knight" in the order of martial arts (2006)and also holds a recognized record for the fastest knock out fighting against two black belts at the same time. The fight last 2.07 seconds.
