Pedro Miguel da Mota Roma (born 13 August 1970 in Pombal) is a Portuguese football goalkeeper. He has played for Académica de Coimbra most of his career, and was a player for the U-21 national team.
Roma came up through the youth ranks of Académica de Coimbra. He made his debut in 1991, and after two successful seasons with the club portuguese giants Benfica bought him. However, he failed to make a single appearance for the Lisbon giants, and was subsequently sold to Gil Vicente where he played six games in the Portuguese Liga. After the 1993-1994 season he went back to Académica where he stayed for two seasons. After a dissapointing second season, he was loaned out to Famalicão. Back in Coimbra he made a record 147 appearances in a row for Académica and was the first-choice goalkeeper for six consecutive seasons. After a brief loan spell at SC Braga in 2002, where he made 3 appearances, he returned and has now played more than 300 games for Académica.
