Pedro Pinto

Pedro Mendonça Pinto is a Portuguese journalist[1] who is currently a sports anchor for CNN International based in London, England. Pinto graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a degree in communications and marketing.

Pedro Pinto started his career with Caderno Diario where he was a sports anchor and editor for the Rádio e Televisão de Portugal show. Pinto used to anchor the program World Sports in CNN between 1998 and 2003, in Atlanta, Georgia. Back in Portugal he anchored the program "Últimas Notícias" on SportTV. His next thing he will do is going to be related to coordinating European Sports to CNN International, starting in 13th November.

He also hosted the last two UEFA Champions League Draws, and best player of the year awards are delivered. Over his career Pinto has interviewed many huge international sports personalities such as Ronaldo, Kaká, Robinho, José Mourinho, Roger Federer and Pelé.
