Pedro Carbo

Pedro Carbo is a town located in Guayas, Ecuador, near Manabí province. It is the seat of Pedro Carbo Canton, created in 1984.

As of the census of 2001, there are 36,711 people residing within canton limits. The city is communicated with Manta and Daule.

The city takes its name from a Guayaquileño gentleman from the 19th century. Its main crops are rice and maize.
