Pedley is a census-designated place (CDP) in Riverside County, California, United States. The population was 11,207 at the 2000 census.

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 11,207 people, 3,180 households, and 2,636 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 2,204.7 people per square mile (851.8/km²). There were 3,289 housing units at an average density of 647.0/sq mi (250.0/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 66.85% White, 4.61% African American, 0.94% Native American, 3.71% Asian, 0.22% Pacific Islander, 18.43% from other races, and 5.24% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 34.26% of the population.

There were 3,180 households out of which 47.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 63.9% were married couples living together, 11.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 17.1% were non-families. 12.4% of all households were made up of individuals and 5.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 3.48 and the average family size was 3.76.

In the CDP the population was spread out with 33.0% under the age of 18, 9.0% from 18 to 24, 29.5% from 25 to 44, 21.3% from 45 to 64, and 7.2% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 32 years. For every 100 females there were 102.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 97.1 males.

The median income for a household in the CDP was $60,567, and the median income for a family was $63,239. Males had a median income of $40,227 versus $26,508 for females. The per capita income for the CDP was $20,623. About 4.7% of families and 8.7% of the population were below the poverty line, including 11.4% of those under age 18 and 7.8% of those age 65 or over.

In the state legislature Pedley is located in the 31st Senate District, represented by Republican Robert Dutton, and in the 66th Assembly District, represented by Republican Kevin Jeffries. Federally, Pedley is located in California's 44th congressional district, which has a Cook PVI of R +6[2] and is represented by Republican Ken Calvert.
