Pediese, chief of the Ma

Pediese was a Chief of the Ma (alt. Meshwesh) Under the 22nd ancient Egyptian dynasty, who was involved in the replacement of an Apis bull which had died in the 28th year of the reign of Sheshonq III [1]. He was High Priest of Ptah, as was his son Peftjauawybast after him [2].
