Pedersöre

Pedersöre (Pedersören kunta in Finnish) is a municipality of Finland. Its seat is in Bennäs.

It is located in the province of Western Finland and is part of the Ostrobothnia region. The municipality has a population of 10,406 (2003) and covers an area of 823.30 km² of which 33.14 km² is water. The population density is 13.2 inhabitants per km².

The municipality is bilingual, with the majority speaking Swedish (91%) and the minority Finnish (7%). The municipality is made up of many smaller villages, the most important ones being Forsby, Bennäs, Kållby, Edsevö, Esse, Lepplax, and Purmo.
