Pedapalem

Pedapalem is a village in Ponnur Mandal of Guntur district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. Its a gram panchayat. It is about 9 kilometers from Ponnur. It is well conected to other villages and towns. The nearest town is Ponnur. The main occupation of the villagers is agriculture.It has an upper primary school and a primary school. Upper primary school is very famous and many of its students are highly educated and well settled across the globe. It produced many talented engineers, doctors and other professionals. River Krishna's waters are used for drinking and irrigation through Buckingham canal. Rice, pulses, chilli and cotton are the main crops. People are well mannered, highly relegious and helpful.
