Proposed flag of Peconic County, New York. The stars show Southold Town on the North Fork; Riverhead at the fork, Southampton to the left on the South Fork, East Hampton to the right on the South Fork and Shelter Island in the water between the two forks.

This image was used on letterhead, bumper stickers, etc., during the 1990s in the campaign to create the county.
