Pebbair

Pebbair is a village and a Mandal in Mahbubnagar district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India.[1] Pebbair is surrounded by the villages of Srirangapur, Kanchirav Palli, and Gopal Peta.

Pebbair is a major Grama Panchayithi, having 27 villages, and 15 schools, including two junior colleges. Recently, a college offering Bachelor of Education degrees was sanctioned. Every Saturday there is a bazaar called Santha in Pebbair.

Near Pebbair is a famous devastanam, called Beechupalli, 6 km away from Pebbair. Beechpalli is surrounded by the Krishna River. In middle of the river there is an historical hill (konda) called Nizam Konda, which was at one time a fort. The movie Chiranjeevi, starring Kondaveeti Raja was filmed there. Two temples are near, Lord Srirama and Lord Hanuman temples. Coming to Agriculter point of view pebbair is having so many resouces such as JURALA LEFT CANNEL & MAHABOOPAL POND .so the mandal is always looking greeny.

Pebbair is on the way of highway No 7, which is the longest highway in India connecting Varanashi to kanyakumari.

4 km from Pebbair is another village, Srirangapur, famous for the Sri Ranganayaka Swamy Temple, where movies such as AADI, and Chennakaehava Reddy were filmed.

There are many other temples near, including Sai Baba, Haumaan, Vasavi Kanyaka Parameshwari, and every year people celebrate Chowdeshwari Jatara.

Coming politics point of view,pebbair has 3 MPTC seats&14 wards.

Every year on april 14th (i.e Ambedkar jayanthi) "Ambedkar jayanthi festival celebrations" are organised by DR.B.R.Ambedkar youth very excellent, All youths are participated in this festival.
