Do not remove speedies from the article you have written. Just place a hangon, and the administrators, like myself, will take it into account. Of course, the speedy should certainly not have been placed on that article one minute after creation (and I've told the person who placed it to be more careful) , and the article is ok now, assuming that none of it comes from their web site.
