Talk:Peach (disambiguation)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
People have now left out Nectarine from this dis-ambiguation page two times, why? If it's not supposed to be included here, where should it then be? Nectarine is a redirect to Peach. bbx 01:10, 22 Sep 2004 (UTC)
This article is about other uses of the word Peach. No one refers to the alternate meaning of nectarine as "peach", of course, and this article is titled Peach (disambiguation), not "Nectarine (disambiguation)". 66.245.10.194 01:12, 22 Sep 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Request for Additional Definition
To the extent of my knowledge, peach is also often used as a euphemism for the female vulva. Some instances include the movie Face/Off, in which Nicolas Cage's character says, "I could eat a peach for hours.". And T.S. Eliot's ballad, The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock, in which the eponymous character says, "Do I dare to eat the peach.". I feel that these occurances are significant enough that it merits the inclusion of this definition in the disambiguation page for peach.(Myscrnnm (talk) 18:57, 25 May 2008 (UTC))
