Pearl M. & Julia J. Harmon Foundation is a private foundation[citation needed] established in 1962 in Oklahoma by oilman C. C. Harmon. C.C. Harmon was a pioneer developer of water-flooding technology in the oil industry.
In 2007 the Harmon Foundation has assets of approximately $50 million. It is among the largest providers of Program Related Investments among foundations in the United States. Program Related Investments offered by the foundation are low interest loans to 501(c)(3) charities in the states of Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, Texas, and New Mexico.
The Foundation funds Program Loans of approximately $2 million annually. In addition to its Program Loans, the Foundation provides locations for two public libraries.
