Peanut Williams
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Patrick Dion "Peanut" Williams (born October 3, 1977) is a professional baseball player currently on the Schaumburg Flyers of the Northern League. He plays primarily first base, but also some designated hitter and the corner outfield spots. He has spent his entire career jumping around from minor league teams and independent teams. He is full of raw power, but the thing holding him back from the major leagues is his high strikeout rate and lack of plate discipline. He was named the 2006 Golden Baseball League MVP, and was on the Golden Baseball League All-Star team.
