Peaceful World is a double-LP by rock band The Rascals, which was released in 1971. In August of 1970, Eddie Brigati left the band, and guitarist Gene Cornish left the following month. By October, a new lineup of the Rascals had already been created featuring Felix Cavaliere and drummer Dino Danelli as well as new players such as Buzz Feiten on guitar and Ann Sutton on vocals. This new Rascals lineup was a departure from the classic days of the band, as most of the tracks on this album had a funkier and jazz influenced feel to them. The title track was a long piece featuring improvisation and multiple extended solos.
