Pečenice is a village and municipality in the Levice District in the Nitra Region of Slovakia.

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1135. Near from village, in deep forest is situated wall from Roman age /"Spečený val"- cemented or sintered wall/ designed for draw the line of Roman's empire. Time genesis unknown

The village lies at an altitude of 273 metres and covers an area of 7.917 km². It has a population of about 126 people.

The village is approximately 99% Slovak.
