[edit] Summary
1966 slide by R. W. Rynerson shows Portland General Electric Company's Lincoln Station, generating electricity and steam for Downtown Portland, Oregon by burning woodchips. Today, with denser development of the city, this site has been redeveloped with housing and businesses. Woodchips in Oregon are now used in engineered wood products.
