• No free equivalent. The newspaper's edition is still under copyright.
• Resolution/fidelity. The scan is of a low resolution such that reproduction in other contexts, such as print publication, is not feasible.
• Respect for commercial opportunities. None of the articles on the scan itself is readable so there is no problem for the newspaper's publisher regarding their commercial usability.
• Content and Significance. This is a scan of the front page of very first issue of the newspaper showing relevant headlines establishing the milieu under which the newspaper was founded.
