[edit] Blanket Rolling Stone spam

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did in Sicko (film). Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. —Erik (talkcontrib) - 03:32, 9 July 2007 (UTC)

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did in Evening (film). It is considered spamming, and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising. Thanks. —Erik (talkcontrib) - 03:37, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue spamming Wikipedia, as you did to Ocean's Thirteen, you will be blocked from editing. —Erik (talkcontrib) - 03:39, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
This is your last warning. The next time you insert a spam link, as you did to Crazy Love (2007 film), you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia. —Erik (talkcontrib) - 03:40, 9 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Rolling Stone album reviews

Hi there. When you add reviews from Rolling Stone to album articles, please don't include "(Not Rated)". Per WP:ALBUM#Professional reviews, such information should not be included. See also Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Albums/Archive 17#Rolling Stone review. Have a nice day. --PEJL 20:03, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

To chime in on this, make sure what you're linking to contains an actual Rolling Stone rating and not just a user a user-generated one. I just undid your edit to STP's Core for that reason. Tarc 21:14, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
No, that is incorrect. Reviews don't need to include ratings. Reviews without ratings should be written with just the review source name and the link, which was the point of the above message. See WP:ALBUM#Professional reviews. --PEJL 23:58, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
One minor followup issue. Since you seem to be adding a lot of Rolling Stone reviews, would you mind using {{Rating}} instead of {{Rating-5}}. The former is the preferred template, per WP:ALBUM#Professional reviews. Just change {{Rating-5|4}} into {{Rating|4|5}} (but note the different order of the numbers). Have a nice day. --PEJL 09:42, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
