The PBA on NBN and the The PBA on IBC were presentations of Philippine Basketball Association games on Philippine television networks National Broadcasting Network and Intercontinental Broadcasting Corporation, respectively. The PBA on NBN and The PBA on IBC succeeded PBA's longtime TV partner Vintage Television.
The coverage of PBA games during this time was highly criticized because of the poor performance of the two networks.

[edit] Overview
The consortium of NBN and IBC took over the league's TV coverage after winning the TV rights over the league's longtime TV partner Vintage Television in December 2002. The league considered the NBN-IBC bid because they can provide a wider coverage of the games not only in Metro Manila but also throughout the provinces. The consortium signed an agreement to the PBA to cover the games for three years.
The first week’s ratings of the games over NBN were negligible when compared to those of IBC which had telecast the games for several years, while even the two networks combined ratings were way below those of Viva TV in 2002.
One of their first experiments is to have parallel broadcasts to extend product reach beyond traditional PBA fans. It is specifically created to complement and at the same time maximize the two-station set up of the consortium. IBC had a separate pre-game, halftime and post-game show, different graphics, a roster of young DJs and personalities as panelists and an up-beat style of presentation, while NBN kept the traditional panelists and style of covering the games. After a few months, the parallel broadcasts were scrapped and they did simulcasts instead.
On October 29, 2003 IBC stopped its coverage of the games due to unpaid airtime dues from NBN. IBC officials claimed that NBN, has failed to pay its airtime dues worth almost 30 million pesos.
