Please visit Talk:Extremaduran_dialect and reconsider reverting your move after reading my post. Its old name "Extremaduran language" follows Wikipedia Language naming conventions - as with Luxemburgish, Arpitan, Mirandese or Neapolitan, which are also doubtfully languages - and it shouldn't be changed, as there are many other regional and minority "speeches" which are also named dialects (such as, say, Castilian, Andalusian, Argentinian, Mexican and so forth), and we distinguish them from the real dialects. German naming conventions are similar to Spanish, I think, but the English Wikipedia is not the place to discuss wether Extremaduran or any other "dialect" is in your personal view a language, a dialect or a speech. I understand your edits in that article, as I made similar edits (now reverted) in some "languages" from Germany long ago, but you should yourself see the point by visiting other regional and minority languages' articles. I would appreciate if you reconsidered your position, so that people see that you reverted your own edit in the history page, and the article doesn't need to be blocked against such changes, which will otherwise be more frequent and lead to vandalism.Max-hu 13:23, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
