[edit] School anthem

The school anthem consists of four verses, the first three verses of which were written by Miss Nancy Coggan, a teacher in the school from 1955-1957. The fourth verse was written by Mrs Winnie Tan and was added in order to incorporate the school's statement of faith. The school anthem is sung every Tuesday:

O let our youthful voices ring
 With all their joyfulness
In praise and gladness let us sing
 Of Paya Lebar MGS(X2)
Here may we seek all wisdom, truth
 And ways of kindliness
Through all the years of golden youth
 At Paya Lebar MGS(X2)
So when we leave its sheltering walls
 We go with fearlessness
Enriched to face life's greatest call
 By Paya Lebar MGS(X2)
Now let us pray and learn, and trust and obey
To serve Him in every way
Glory to God we give and pray
 For Paya Lebar MGS(X2)
