[edit] No wandering domain
Thank you for the new no wandering domain article. I'd like to note that it is not clear from that article what "rational map" means. Perhaps you could put in a link to the relevant concept, or otherwise explain what that means in the article. Thanks. Oleg Alexandrov (talk) 04:50, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Style notes
Hi. I have a few suggestions. One is that it is good to use an edit summary more often, as it helps us understand what you changed. And I have a style note. PerWP:MoS#Sections and headings, one should write
==Complex analysis==
instead of
==Complex Analysis==
and in general, one should use lowercase in section names, except for proper names, and first letter of the section name. These are small things, but I thought I'd give you some feedback.
Thank you for the new Classification of Fatou components article. Oleg Alexandrov (talk) 02:56, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for the feedback, I'm still quite new to the wiki system.

- Hi, Paxinum! Please take a look at the changes I made at classification of Fatou components. I think the distinction between cases 3 and 4 is clearer now.
- Have a great day! ;^> DavidCBryant 13:02, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Critical Assembly
I reverted your edit because the film doesn't have a page, making the dab page redundant. If you are planning on creating the article, it should go to Critical Assembly (film) and follow the style guidelines for films --Closedmouth (talk) 11:48, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Critical assembly (2003 film)
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Critical assembly (2003 film), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Critical assembly (2003 film). jonny-mt(t)(c)I'm on editor review! 11:52, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Minesweeper images are now on Commons
I see that you released your minesweeper images to public domain. I just moved them to Commons so they will be available to all languages. Thank you for your contributions! --PaePae | Talk 02:47, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Jeri Ryan image
I saw your question on User:Dismas' page and I can answer it. The reason why the image of Seven of Nine can be used on one page and not the other ultimately has to do with the license on the Seven image. You see, the Seven of Nine image is licensed as a screenshot and so it's a non-free use image; as a result, the use of the image falls under Wikipedia's fair use policy. If you look in the unacceptable uses section of said policy, the pertinent item is clause 12 which states: "Pictures of people still alive, groups still active, and buildings still standing; provided that taking a new free picture as a replacement (which is almost always considered possible) would serve the same encyclopedic purpose as the non-free image." Since Jeri Ryan is still very much alive, that's why the Seven image is not usable on Jeri's page. As for the use of the image on Seven of Nine's page, that falls under an earlier set of guidelines, which lists a slew of gotchas which must be met by the image. In this case, it looks like all the various points are covered and we can use the image. Tabercil (talk) 21:36, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
