[edit] Not much to do!

As the original author of the text I would like to emphasize that, despite the fact that there is scope for improvement the article provides sufficient information about the concept in its present form. An article does not need to reach a certain longevity in order to be de-classified as stub. As a result there is not much to do here.

Furthermore I would also like to state that the article does not concern military history only, but also political history in general and specific histories (Ottoman, Balkan etc.) as well as histiography. What it does not concern much is modern Turkey save normative/ideological debates where WikiProject Turkey is currently weak.

Taking into consideration the above facts I will consider removing WikiProject Turkey tag.
