I have the honour to meet and work with Pavel Lungin during December 1997 in Hunza valley (Northern Areas of Pakistan), while he was here with an American producer Randall M. Starrat the CEO of Out Of Chaos Ltd. VG to direct a film under the title of "Tournament of Shadows" concived from a small episode of The Great Game, showing the visits of Russain Col.Grabchevsky and British Capt. Francis Younghusband to Hunza Mir (King)in 1888 and 1889. Both agents have met the then king of Hunza State Mir Safdar Khan and his remarkable vezier Thara Baig written in their accounts as Dadu or Dadoo (For Reading:Wonders of the Himalaya & In the Heart of a Continent by F. Younghusband).

Film shooting was done for almost a month time with mush struggle on true locations and sets, but for some unkown reason the film never has been released yet. People of Hunza are eagerly waiting for that. However, we wish both gentlemen our warm wishes and respects.
