Pavia is a 3rd class municipality in the province of Iloilo, Philippines. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 32,824 people in 6,553 households. As of 2005, its mayor is Arcadio H. Gorriceta. The municipal church, currently undergoing restoration, is similar to the one in the Italian city of Pavia.[1]
