[edit] February 2008

Hello. Please don't forget to provide an edit summary, which wasn't included with your recent edit to Rick Barry. Thank you. Otolemur crassicaudatus (talk) 21:48, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

Hi Paul. Thanks for all your work on Rick Barry, the new infobox is a nice touch. Just remember that it's a good idea to use the preview button before you save; this helps you find any errors you have made, and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history. Good luck and happy editing. Bash Kash (talk) 03:34, 2 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Question re Chicago Bulls all-time roster

In your edit summary, you wrote, "If a player played only one year for a team, it would be better to leave only the succesive year of one season." Could you explain why? It's easy (with the help of sources like this) to figure out exactly when a player was on the Bulls' roster. Zagalejo^^^ 23:35, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

Sure, Basketball-reference.com does it that way, but we don't have to follow their lead. Personally, I think their system is kind of confusing. It's really not that difficult to find precise dates for each players' duration with the Bulls. In addition to the link above, I have access to the Chicago Tribune and Chicago Sun-Times newspaper archives, so in most cases, I could find the exact date a player joined the Bulls and the exact date when he left. [edit] I wanna give you a prize

I'm Javitomad, a Spanish user of English wikipedia.

I've seen you've improved some articles about Spain.

Because of that, I want to give you a Barnstar, the Spanish Barnstar.

[edit] Miami, Florida

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that I reverted the last pair of edits you made to the article because the "cleanest city" citation (from Forbes) is already in the article, with a cite from Forbes itself, rather than a Yahoo link that will expire in a week. [edit] Response

OK, Diligent Terrier & Paulinho28, ive been monitoring this conversation for a short-time period. This is just petty. You're getting annoyed at each other over something trivial. Why cant you guys just get over it, and move on. Stop being petty and start building an encyclopedia. Five Years 17:59, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
Firmly agreed with Five Years's comment above. If someone reverts you like this on your talk page in future, do not react to it, and get an administrator involved. Orderinchaos 00:00, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
As a semi-related aside, please be aware of the conversation at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents#User:Paulinho28. Two things to note:
  • The matter has been marked "resolved", as admin action has been deemed unnecessary.
  • The other person's actions were criticised, so it is probably not necessary for you to respond, although if you wish to explain any situation that was going on on 6th February, you may wish to do so for the record. When doing so, please avoid writing anything that looks like a personal attack - AN/I is a very public forum monitored by a lot of admins, and being aggressive on there could get you blocked.

Hey, you are well within policy to remove comments from your talk, and he should have left you alone. His actions have been frowned upon by the community. Strongly re-inforce what OIC said above. Thanks. Five Years 17:16, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Say hello to my little friend!

This article, which you created, has been nominated for deletion. You may participate in the debate by clicking the link in the template at the top of the article. Please do not remove the template until the discussion is closed. --Steven J. Anderson (talk) 20:56, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

Also, I would like to point out that you previously removed the speedy deletion tag from this article, which you created yourself, in spite of the fact that the template specifically instructed you not to. --Steven J. Anderson (talk) 21:04, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

As you are certainly aware, that page was redirected by consensus as recorded at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Say hello to my little friend!. Now you have undone the redirect. If you continue to do this it will be treated as vandalism. --Steven J. Anderson (talk) 16:18, 19 April 2008 (UTC)
