[edit] Re: Hélia Correia

While it is important to sign your messages on talk pages with "~~~~", you should not sign contributions to articles themselves. Per WP:OWN, no single editor possesses ownership over any article. The record of who made what changes can be seen in the article's history page; there is no need to sign the page itself. Thanks, and happy editing! —Swpb talk contribs 18:17, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:BaladaPraiaCaes.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:BaladaPraiaCaes.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. [edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Belarmino.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Belarmino.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 07:39, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Oops...

Looks like I jumped the gun on your new article. Sorry about that! --PMDrive1061 (talk) 16:43, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Vimala Devi

I've fleshed out the article a little with information gathered from checking Worldcat (although the Swedish National Library has one book of hers in Esperanto mis-cataloged as being in Portuguese). Can you provide some sources and cites for the article? --Orange Mike | Talk 14:54, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

Personal correspondence is not a reliable source, and is not acceptable for anything you want to add to an article. We need impartial, published third-party sources. (If you are in correspondence with her, give her greetings from a fellow Esperantist.) --Orange Mike | Talk 20:17, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
I had to remove the poem, as that is a copyright violation. --Orange Mike | Talk 17:12, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Vimala Devi Portrait.jpg

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Vimala Devi Portrait.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 12:12, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
