Janice Villnerve (born Janice Christine Crusta) is an author, and a retired engineer.

Jancie Villnerve was born May 31, 1975 in Metairie, Louisiana to parents David and Marlene Crusta. She studied Mechanical Engineering at University of New Orleans and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1997. After graduating she moved with her husband to Jacksonville, Florida to practice engineering. She first worked for an engineering firm before starting her own business, "Villnerve Enterprises", to continue her engineering work without compromising her duties to her newborn child.
In 2003 she moved to Fort Collins, Colorado where in 2004 she was inspired to write her children's book, Mama Cat's Adventure's in Child Training presents: No Whining! thru her self-publishing company, Paradigm Publishing. She became interested in children's literature because she felt that modern examples of it did not reflect old-fashioned values and no-nonsense child rearing.
She married her husband Paul Villnerve on August 30, 1997 and has seven children. She presently resides in Alaska and is expecting her eighth child.
