A Chemistry graduate from Nottingham University in the UK, over the past 20 years Paul has operated at a senior executive level for a number of world class electronic manufacturing companies.
He has experience of working for global OEMS for companies such as Samsung Electronics as well as operating at director level for a number of UK based contract electronics manufacturers in an executive capacity including TT EMS and Century Electronics. He has also via his own business, Aster Interim Solutions, provided consultancy support to a number of others including:
His experience in the electronic manufacturing service sector allows him to offer a unique insight into this complex and ever changing market place with both UK and offshore manufacturing experience.
In addition, Paul is now recognised as one of the UK's foremost authorities on the implementation of lean manufacturing techniques to both high volume and low/medium volume, high product mix businesses. He has significant experience of both implementing, facilitating and developing programmes for companies in:

- 7 Wastes
- Single Minute Exchange of Die (SMED)
- TPM
- Kanban
- Value Stream Mapping
Paul offers support to the European manufacturing sector through his award winning training practice, Aster Training.
Paul set up his own interim management practice in 2003 aimed at addressing the issues manufacturing businesses faced in the UK. He saw the use of strategic interim managers as a vital tool in the battle to reverse the move to offshore manufacturing.
Since that time he and his associates have advised a range of companies in the UK from SMEs to large blue chip multi-national manufacturers on their manufacturing strategies.
